What is the best fuel filter for my Yamaha saltwater series 2 250hp outboard?
Gas tends to have water or debris and my engine is a bit sensitive to both. What is the best out there? Especially against the water. Right now I use a Racor filter S3228UL.

Mercury makes a great ride on Racor filter, but is one of, if not the best. If you're getting water and debris in your gas you need to find a different provider or have your fuel tank.

Evinrude 225HP unloading smoking?
My 1998 Evinrude 225HP (carburettor) is minimised and smoke spewing more when I increase engine RPM. The only change from last season is the addition of a water separator-filter fuel Racor inline. Any suggestions on what to check?
